How did we forget!

This is completely unpardonable (we have actually applied for a Presidential pardon)! We almost forgot -

This beautiful store in Colaba goes by the name of 'Real Deal'. And trust us, it is the real deal. It has a unique assortment of eye-catching clothes for both boys and girls (we believe we always remain boys and girls :-). Find your way to this store quick!

The other store we are talking about is but of course 'His -N- Hers' in Lokhandwala. This funky store managed by the even more funkier Vikki (as we all lovingly call him) is the destination of choice for fashionistas of the city. We are waiting for the pardon......

But It Rained.....

Following are some images of the day the rain gods decided to pay us a lil visit.


You can see our two-wheeler parked outside almost submerged (notice the rear-view mirror popping out) .










We spent most of the day sitting by the window with our feet up (you will soon realize why) .

We decided our bean-bags needed more protection that ourselves.














We then got out of the house, waded through waist-deep water (we came across a couple of cars floating away by themselves in the waterr) and almost walked the entire way back to Chote's home.

And to top it all, we had an inkling from the beginning that a flat with a number as D-13 might not be a great idea ;-)

Flash news, 30th June - 2007 :

419mm of rainfall in Bombay in around 20 hours. High tide at the same time. Water levels rise to 6 inches of water inside our Office at Malad, Mumbai. Items of all shapes and sizes last seen floating around outside of our Office.

The four of us (Navneet, Sushant, Kashyap, Mohit) finally abandoned ship at 4.00pm, 3.5 hours after it started taking in water. We waded through waist deep waters to find safe havens where we finally jugaadofied wadapav, jalebis and chai.

Apparently the rest of Bombay was hardly affected by the floods. It was just parts of Malad, Kurla and a few other low lying areas! And here we thought we were done for!! ... Talk about a frog in a pond!!
